Flunko is a Chrome side panel. Your chats go to the AI account you sign in with. Flunko does not run a chat service of its own.

Who this covers

This page covers the Flunko Chrome extension and the public catalog at api.flunko.lt. Chat is provided by OpenRouter under your account. Servers you add yourself have their own policies.

Stored on your computer

Chrome keeps this in the extension’s local storage. It stays on the device unless a later section says it is sent somewhere.

  • Your OpenRouter access key, after you sign in.
  • Chats, the model you picked, and related settings.
  • Files you attach, and files you keep in a workspace folder.
  • Remote services you add (their addresses, and tokens if you sign in to them).
  • A downloaded copy of the public tool catalog, when that feature is on.

Flunko does not add its own encryption on top of what Chrome already does. Treat the computer like any other signed-in browser.

Sent to OpenRouter

Sign-in opens OpenRouter in a normal browser window. The key that comes back stays in the extension. Chat, model lists, and related calls go from the extension to OpenRouter with that key.

That includes the messages you send, tool results the model needs, and file contents you ask about (including text extracted from documents, and pictures when the model can see pictures). Ranking tools for a message can also use your key to make an embedding on your computer’s behalf. Flunko does not add a fee and does not resell that usage. OpenRouter’s own policy applies to data they receive.

Sent to Flunko

If the catalog is turned on, the extension downloads a list of public servers and tools from api.flunko.lt. Your chat, your key, and your files are not sent there. The site flunko.lt is a static page and does not collect an account.

Sent to services you add

If you add a remote service, calls go from the extension to that service, not through a Flunko chat proxy. Only enable a service you trust with the data those calls include.

Pages you visit

The extension can see tools a page offers for this kind of helper, so the side panel can use them when you ask. It does not browse the open web, click around an ordinary page, or send the page to Flunko. Page content is sent to OpenRouter only when it is part of a chat or tool result you asked for.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use your chats to train a Flunko model. There is no Flunko chat model.
  • We do not require a Flunko account.
